A new serenity

As I mentioned to you, friends, I've been involved in difficult intervention. The lady who takes care of me has a friend who has been very sad. She tries to feel better by taking pills and alcohol and reading about others' misfortunes. It has been quite something to see and I wanted to help!
Is someone in your life drowning in drugs and alcohol? You need a course of action. I documented my approach here for you to refer to. Wolfie can help!

First, you see the terrible symptoms of abuse which include sleeping constantly and not grooming! You may also see evidence of drug use (bottles) and unhealthy reading materials.
I saw this situation with my own two eyes! There was no time for tears. I had to take action.

I tried to steal the pills without waking my friend so I could dispose of them once and for all. I replaced the pills and liquors with friendship, healthy doses of sunshine and nice walks to the donut shop. Delicious, not destructive!

Please stay tuned to The Wolfie Report!

I'm sorry I haven't been able to give you an update on my life for the past few days. I appreciate all the notes of concern. Believe me, I'm in good health! But I am involved in an intervention, the story of which may help others. I am being forced to take action. There are pills involved! I will tell you about it here very soon on The Wolfie Report. Please come back for the update on Saturday! Namaste!

Treats up ahead!

Hello friends! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying each precious moment of life. It was a rough week for me, Wolfie, because I've been sick with a cough. The lady who takes care of me gave me pills and table scraps and I'm up and around again. Listen, don't let bad times get you down. As dark as the path may get, lined with kids throwing rocks and people wanting to kick you, there is always a bright spot at the end. So...

Take it from me, Wolfie: "Keep your head down and run FAST! There's probably a delicious pile of cheese and meats right up ahead for you!"

Whew! It's been a few days but I've been busy resting and eating. Sure is nice to rest. Doesn't take much. Just do it!

Don't be so greedy

Just got to get to those last few crumbs? Not such a pretty picture, is it?

Take it from me, Wolfie: "Today, share your treats with others."

Go for it!

Take it from me, Wolfie: "I always enjoy an exhilarating run at the beach. Feeling the sand on my pads and really getting a workout. For added challenge, don't always run in a straight line. Zig zag a little! You'll love the feeling!"

Wolfie says...

Today, take a well-deserved moment to relax -- on a delightful, soft cushion, perhaps. Sure feels great. You'll definitely feel the benefits.

Ask Wolfie!

Dear Wolfie, I am surrounded by idiots. Every turn I make in my life, idiots bump into me. I try to be tolerant but I just don't understand why they can't be stupid someplace else, especially not at my place of business. Can you help me please? I admire your serenity deeply.
Best wishes,
Surrounded by Idiots Los Angeles, CA

Dear Surrounded by Idiots,
I'm thinking that most people (and some dogs for that matter) are stupid. You sound like a sensitive soul. You will understand my wisdom. I remember a matty-haired Cockerpoo who for months would thwart my morning stroll to the West Hollywood Trader Joe's. For fun! I shouted at him to let me pass. I charged him, but being a small-breed, I could not make my way past the brute. I was merely living my life! Enjoying the city bustle and greeting the community. Why such a problem? One day, during a stressful standoff, I realized that it was my anger that provoked him. He wanted to pull me down to his level! I turned my light within and felt feather-light. Hey, that is all you can ask of yourself in the world. To be conscious in the moment. The dummies are here to stay. Best to have a good laugh or two about it! Namaste!

Ask Wolfie!

Dear Wolfie, I'm a 28-year-old college grad with a decent job. I hear a lot about how my generation is not saving as much for retirement as it should be and that we are all in for big trouble in a few decades. I have started saving some, but not as much as I should. How can I make my money work for me?
Thanks for your help, Wolfie.

Dear Reader,
28! A mere pup! I applaud your ruminations on future security in this age of cynicism. For years I tucked my savings (namely of leaves, twigs and some assorted dirt clods) into a discarded bedroom slipper, wedged behind my dogbed. But that's not smart. My foremost advice to you is to put as much as you possibly can into your master's retirement plan/401K, up to the company's match (but not over the match! say "no" to that!). Or you can approach financial security like me, Wolfie, and find someone else to provide you with food, water and a cushion to sleep on. Good luck, Reader! Namaste!

Give a hoot!

A delicious donut

Thank you, good people

I am so grateful for the warm welcome from well-wishers of the internet. It is my hope that I can be of help in solving your problems of daily life -- That is, after all, what I, Wolfie am here for...to help others.

For example, on a stroll this morning, I stopped by Michelle's Donut Shop on Santa Monica Blvd. to say hello to Annie, who runs the place. She clapped when she saw me, did a little twirl and gave me a donut. It didn't take much time from my busy day, but we all felt great because I made the effort to keep that connection.

Take it from me, Wolfie:

"Pause for a minute today to say hello and chat a bit. You're not in such a big hurry, are you?. "
